Fannie Dickson (Adams) Kinningham was born on August 25, 1904 in Tennessee in rural Houston County, and she was the daughter of Lillie Pearl (Lewis) (Adams) Bateman (15 Jul 1885–5 Nov 1958) and John Wesley "Wess" Adams (1877–1919). {It is noted that the name of Lillie's husband had been given in public records in various forms, including John Wesley Adams, Wesley H Adams and Wess Adams.}

She was married to Frances Joseph "Frank" Kinningham (1903–1955), and he was the son of William Rufus Kinningham (1873–1943) and his wife Mary Ellen (Dillehunty) Kinningham (ca 1977–1935).

Formerly living in Nashville and later for a time in South Dakota, she was in Wichita County, Texas with her daughter and 96 years old when she died on June 8, 2001.

Survivors included her daughter Bettie F Barry of Texas, a grandson, three great-grandchildren and three 2nd-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held on June 13th at Ellis Funeral Home on Nolensville Road, Nashville, and burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville.
