Ada Onalee Brawner entered into her eternal rest on March 7, 2022, at River Ridge Nursing Home, she was 97.

Miss Brawner was born on January 29, 1925, to the late Claude Edgar Brawner, Sr. and Ada McElroy Brawner. She was a lifelong resident of Cross County and a 1943 graduate of Wynne High School. She attended Memphis Business School and worked at Missouri-Pacific Railroad and Arkla Gas. Miss Brawner was employed by East Arkansas Broadcasters at KWYN radio station where she was affectionately known as "Sweet" from 1958 when it first went on the air until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Wynne.

Onalee was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Amos Brawner, Sr. and wife Eileen; Claude Brawner, Jr. and wife Helen; Harrell Brawner and wife Ouida; and Rex, Brawner, one sister, Mary B. Wallin and her husband, Wendell; and nephews, Keth Wallin, Winn, Wallin, Lawson Brawner, Steve Wallin, and Amos Brawner, Jr.

She is survived by one sister-in-law, Syble Brawner, surviving spouse of Rex Brawner, nephews, Dunn Brawner and wife, Connie, Claude Brawner, III and wife Jeannine, Eldridge Brawner and Ken Brawner, nieces, Sharon B. Tucker and Kay B. Wegret and husband, Dennis, niece-in-laws, Vicki Brawner, surviving spouse of Amos Brawner, Jr., and Cheryl Wallin, surviving spouse of Steve Wallin Sr. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM at Kernodle Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 AM with Rev. Matt Carter officiating. In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 800 N. Falls Blvd, Wynne, Arkansas 72396.
