MRS. EDWARD SHAW.
Mrs. Edward Shaw of North street, this borough, died at 10 o'clock p. m. Sunday of paralysis, aged 50 years and 11 days. She suffered the first attack about four years ago, the second last Spring and the third on the 2nd inst while visiting at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. V. Barrett on Pine street. She was removed to her home on the following Saturday, where she lingered in a semi-conscious state until the time of her death.
Deceased was Alice, daughter of the late Ezra Morgan and wife of this place, and is survived by her husband and the following children : Mrs. Wm. Baylor (Edith) of Sunbury, and Jessie and Lottie at home. Six children preceded her in death, she is also survived by one brother, Alban D. Morgan of Coaldale, and the following sisters: Mrs. John Hawk, Mrs. Wm. Shamper, Mrs. Henry Bowman, Mrs W V. Barrett of this place.
The funeral was held from her late home at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. G. B. Renshaw of the U. B. church officiating and interment was made in union cemetery.
