Mrs. Belva Beatrice "Bea" Burress, 84, of Union City passed away 1:34 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at her home.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Private graveside services for family will follow.

Pallbearers will be Eric Benefield, Cody Burress, Kyle Bunso, Brian Burress, Mike Pickering and Joshua Grandt.

Bea was born June 3, 1937, in Ridgeway, Missouri, daughter of the late Howard and Belva Elizabeth (Cook) Baker. She married Dale Burress February 8, 1958. He survives. She retired from The University of Tennessee at Martin as supervisor of printing services.

She is also survived by one daughter, Bonnie Burress of Union City; two sons, Dale "Corky" Burress (Shonda) of Drummonds and Dwayne Burress (Betsy) of Franklin; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Zoe Nell Scott (Marvin) of Ridgeway, Missouri; and one brother, Larry Baker (Mary Lou) of Kansas City, Missouri.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
