Carl is survived by his loving wife Sue, of the home; his children, Mike Eden and his wife Sherry, Kathy Yates, Steven Eden and his wife Stacy, and Bradley Eden and his wife Angela; seven grandchildren, Kelly, Tricia, Tara, Kristi, Cory, Abby and Dwight, seven great-grandchildren; a half brother, Lester Mike Corey; sisters-in-law, Mary Sue Long, Phyllis Deckard and her husband Mike, Patty Davis and her husband Lester, Debra Wolfe, Thea Fleeman and her husband Scott, Janice Hosiner; a brother-in-law, Walter Hosiner and his wife Barbara; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many dear friends.

After he and Sue were married, they made their home in Lebanon where he worked for the city. He later pastored the Oskaloosa Freewill Baptist Church in Oskaloosa, Missouri before moving to Seymour where he owned and operated Eden Countryside Electric for thirty years.

In his spare time, Carl enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and gardening, as well as working in the yard around the house. He was a devoted family man who worked hard to make a living for his family.
Carl was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother-in-law, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the wonderful memories he has created for his family and many dear friends.
