Olive was born July 6, 1926, in Fairfield, the daughter of Ada and Dexter Fenlason.
She was the wife of Chandler Libby and Herbert Mitchell, and mother of Albert Libby, Jeanne Brown and baby Libby, all predeceased.
She is survived by her sister, Eva Hinckley; three children, Barbara Mitchell, William Mitchell, and Betty Palmer-Dunnam; eight grandchildren, Amy Przytulski, Albert Libby, Billy Mitchell, Jesse Palmer, Amanda Palmer, Cameron Mitchell, Jay Palmer, Amity Palmer, Jerry Palmer, their loving spouses and significant others; and eight great-grandchildren, Krista, John Ryan, Mikel, Noah K., Noah J., Kaylen, Tyler, and Riley. Olive also celebrated sharing life with several foster children and step-grandchildren and loved them all dearly.
A celebration of her life will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at Phillips United Methodist Church. Olive loved Christmas and Easter -- her celebration of life will be a collection of stories, favorite Christmas Hymns and Carols and traditional candle lighting. Olive loved children and poinsettias.
