Stanley Steen, 58, died at the Fremont hospital following a six week illness, of multiple myeloma.

He was born January 24, 1907 to Michael A. and Mathilda Isaacs Steen in Fremont, Nebraska. He married Lois Hall on October 18,1931, at the First Methodist Church.

He spent his entire working career of 40 years, with Nebraska State Savings & Loan. He was the corporate Secretary, since 1952. He served on various boards of the First United Methodist Church, for over 25 years,

His hobbies were golf and enjoying his children's activities, particularly his son's various horse showing opportunities.

He is survived by his wife, Lois, daughter Judi Adams, Lincoln. NE., son Michael of the home, sisters, Thora Johnson and Hazel McKennan, both of Fremont, brothers Milard, of Omaha, Earl of
Fremont, and Axel (Mike) of Beatrice, NE.

Funeral services were held at the First United Methodist Church. Committal followed in Memorial Cemetery, Fremont. Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Home in Fremont, was entrusted with the arrangements.
