Nancy Marie Grimes Warren, age 74, of Fayetteville, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022. She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina on August 23, 1947 to the late Vincent DePaul and Jimmie Sue Burton Grimes. In addition to her parents Ms. Warren is preceded in death by her Paul Burton Grimes. She was a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse for over 40 years. Her passion was taking care of the newborn babies at Lincoln County Hospital. Nancy was a trusted and beloved friend to many. She loved her family without fail and helped raise her nieces and nephews as she would her own children. She hosted many family gatherings at her house doing cookouts during the summer and the best Christmas dinners and games. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking and sharing with her family and friends.
