Professional Biathlete, an athlete that combines cross-country skiing and rifle shooting. He was born as Yevhen Valentynovych Malyshev in Kharkiv, Ukraine, on March 10, 2002. He was coached by S.I. Solodovnyk and V.E. Spitsyn and then went onto participate as a member of the Ukrainian Junior National Team in the biathlon from 2018 to 2020. He retired from the biathlon competition at the age of eighteen in 2020. During the outbreak of the war in his native Ukraine he decided to serve his country against the Russian forces. He enlisted in the armed forces of Ukraine and was sent into battle. He was killed while defending his hometown of Kharkiv, Ukraine, in the Battle of Kharkiv during the Russian invasion of Ukraine on March 1, 2022, just a week away from what would have been his twentieth birthday.
