Lawrence Erby Varner, 93, of Clanton, Alabama passed away March 1, 2022 at his residence.
He was born May 5, 1928 in Elmore County, Alabama, son of William Alfred Varner and Bess Sadie Crew Varner.
He was a construction worker.
Surviving are his Sons, Jackie (Laura) Varner, Rickie (Joyce) Varner; Daughter, Vickie (Randall) Cleckler; 11 Grandchildren; 22 Great-Grandchilren; 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Betty Peacock, Juanita Staggs, Gwendolyn Turner.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Arrita Scott Varner; Son, Larry Varner; Daughter, Teresa Vastine Donner; Father, Alfred Varner; Mother, Bess Sadie Varner; Brother, Floyd Varner; Sister, Maxine Clements.
Friends will be received Friday, March 4, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home.
Services will be held Friday, March 4, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
