Aaron R. Vigil, 34 of Bayard, NM passed away February 21, 2022 at his home.

Cremation has been entrusted to Baca's Funeral Chapels. Inurnment of his ashes will be in the family plot at the San Juan Cemetery in San Juan, NM. Officiating will be Father Martin Okonkwo.

Aaron was born July 3, 1987 in Silver City to Olivia Vigil. He was a hard working self-employed man doing many different things. He also got involved with is cousin selling Herbal Life products keeping him busy all the time. Aaron loved going swap to meets where he would buy and sell. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, keeping up with their every move. He was also a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Aaron was a wonderful father and his son always came first in his life. If you saw Aaron anywhere you knew that his son would be by his side. He always had a smile on face and always in a good mood. Aaron loved to help his family and friends and he was a person that you could always count on. He loved the outdoors and spent time with his son going to fish and camp, spending time at the park with him.

Aaron is survived by his son Damien Vigil; his mother Olivia Vigil; aunt Eva Vigil; cousins, Becky Ortiz, Alfonso Santa Maria, James Vigil, Monique Vigil, James Vigil Jr, Jerome Vigil and Ricardo Vigil; his two very special friends, Adam Maldonado and Angie Marrufo. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernesto and Clorinda Vigil, and an aunt, Clara Vigil.
