Alta Yvonne (Kitzmiller) Nesselrodt, age 86, of Petersburg, WV died on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg.
Alta was born on February 27, 1936 in Bismarck, WV and was a daughter of the late Alva Kitzmiller and Goldie (Cosner) Kitzmiller. In addition to her parents, Alta was preceded in death by her husband, Bryson Champ and her brother, Raymond E. Kitzmiller; her step granddaughter, Amy Combs.
Alta is survived by one daughter, two sons, four grandchildren, one step grandson; five great grandchildren, four step great grandchildren, three sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Alta graduated from Petersburg High School. She was a member of the Memorial Church of the Brethren and worked as a teachers aide for several years for the Grant County School system.
Interment will be in Lahmansville Cemetery.
