Peggy Greer Turner passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 6, 2022 in Arlington TX. She was born on September 28, 1943 in Dallas TX to her parents Joyce and Charlie Greer. Known by all for her kindness and gentleness, Peggy was the most loyal and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and friend one could ever ask for. She enjoyed putting plants in the yard and playing with her grandkids. Peggy graduated from Bynum (TX) High School as Salutatorian in 1962. She enjoyed a long and highly-respected career with the Xerox Corporation. Peggy was married to her loving husband, Jack Turner, for 49 years. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents Charlie Greer and Joyce Greer, and her brother, Charles Greer. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Jack Turner; son, Brian Turner; grandchildren, Sara Turner and Chandler Turner; great- grandchildren, Elizabeth Turner and Liam Turner; her sister, Jane Tenery and her husband, Jim Tenery; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other loving family members and friends. Peggy's memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, February 21, 2022 at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX. Viewing and visitation will precede the service at 1:00pm. Following the service, the funeral procession will travel to Little Bethel Memorial Park, 1803 Cedar Hill Rd., Duncanville, TX, where Peggy will be buried next to her parents.
