Hortense Olive Helland 78 a longtime resident of Bucoda died following a long illness Friday July 15, 1994 in her home She was born Dec 4, 1915 in Ft Ranson, ND Mrs. Helland moved to the Northwest in 1951 living in Bucoda since 1954 She was a longtime member of the Assembly of God Church Bucoda where she taught Sunday School for many years Surviving Mrs. Helland besides her husband Marvin Helland of the family home are four sons Gary Helland Lake Oswego Ore Charles Helland Centralia Merle Helland Williston ND and Clayton Helland Kake Alaska two daughters Janet Dafler Wick-enburg Arit and Myma Ronning Centralia 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren She was pre-cededin death ty a son James L Helland A graveside service for Mrs. Helland will begin at 1 pm Monday July 18 in Napavine Cemetery Napavine In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mr Helland PO Box 15 Bucoda Wash 98530 Arrangements are ty Bleitz Funeral Hone Seattle
