Kenneth Earl Hatch, 77, passed away peacefully March 17, 2003, due to injuries suffered after having been struck by a drunk driver while crossing an intersection in So. Salt Lake City.

He was born August 10, 1925 in Salem, Utah to Ruebun Earl Hatch Jr. and Dora Adelma Taylor.

Kenneth served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and later married Janice Marie Johnson January 16, 1954. They divorced May 1975.

He was survived by seven children: Bonnie (Paul) Sharp, Boyd Hatch, Barbara (Max) Thomas, Bernice (Lou) Mecham, Bonita (Gary) Larsen, Bridgett (Bryan) Ehlers, Brad Hatch and 17 grandchildren.
Kenneth was preceded in death by son Bud Earl Hatch in 1985, who was also killed by a drunk driver.

He retired from Ryder P.I.E. Trucking Company after 30 years of employment. His interests include building, gardening and photography.
