Friends here will be sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. F. C. Lambert, which occurred at the family home in Pomona, California, February 5, 1941 at the age of nearly 81 years. Funeral services were held at the Pomona Christian Church of which Mrs. Lambert was a member. Former Palmer people, attending the services were Mrs. Mabel Kerr, Mr. Will Cole and Mr. Ed. Templin.
The Lamberts formerly resided near Palmer for many years. Mr. Lambert, a brother of the late Mrs. Heck of this place, is the only member of the family still living.
Mrs. Lambert's maiden name was Alice Cary Trindle, and she was born February 25, 1860 at Van Meter, Ia. She was married October 25, 1878 to Mr. Lambert, and five children were born to this happy union. They are: LaCount Lambert, Stromn, Canada; Mrs. J. N. Rector, Pomona, Calif; Mrs. W. T. Sloan, Long Beach; Mrs. Frank Green, Loveland, Colo; Mrs. Roy Baker, Pomona, Calif. Also surviving are five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
