Graveside services for Dee Isaacks 87, formerly of Athens have been scheduled for 2:30 P.M. Sunday February 27, 2022 at Oaklawn Memorial Park with Bro. Glenn Mangrum officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday afternoon from 1-2 P.M. at Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.
Dee passed away Monday February 21, 2022 in Ft. Worth, Texas.
She was born January 12, 1935 in Muscotah, Kansas to the late Kenneth Ray and Norma Pearl Brown Langston. Dee grew up in Topeka, Kansas and this is where she met her soon to be husband who was serving in the United States Air Force. They were married in 1954 and moved to Texas. Dee was a resident of Athens since 1968 and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Athens. Dee was an exceptional artist and excelled in oil painting. She loved music and was a very talented on the keyboard. She spent most of her life in the Title Insurance Industry and eventually was a crew chief and project manager for various oil companies. She was a committed Christian and her greatest desire was for her family to love the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Kenneth Ray and Norma Pearl Langston, husband; Sam Isaacks, infant baby; Rebecca Lynn Issacks, sister; Lois Willes, brother; Loren Ray Langston.
Survivors include her daughter Sheree Isaacks Lambert of Athens, grandchildren; Stacia Halbrook Holmes of Athens, Charles Bryan Lambert of Keller, great grandchildren; Claudia Paige Holmes Yuong and husband Aaron of Keller, Chase Joshua Holmes of Euless, great-great grandchildren; Tucker Jaxon Yuong of Keller, sister; Joyce Kolstad and husband Ron of California, sister and caregiver; Linda Zieman and husband Tom of Glen Rose, sisters-in-law; Sandy Blue and husband Jack of Carrollton, Judy Walker and husband Larry of Carrollton and numerous nieces and nephews.
