Born in Brunswick, ME, he was the son of the late Burton and Marjorie (Morgan) Alexander. He grew up in Cundys Harbor, ME, graduated from Salem High School, Class of 1971, and later settled down in Plaistow, NH. David was a heavy equipment operator employed by local construction contractors.
David was a devoted family man. He enjoyed meeting new people, and they him, with his contagious laugh and larger than life persona. He also enjoyed movies, puzzles, and studying the Bible. He loyally enjoyed his unchanging Dunkin' order- medium hot regular coffee and two jelly doughnuts.
David will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his longtime girlfriend, Deborah Hawes of Plaistow, NH, his three daughters, Leeann Blais and her husband Larry, Jr. of Lawrence, MA, Kimberly Betelho and her husband Luke of Salem, MA, and Isabelle Alexander of Sandown, NH. He was predeceased by his brothers Dale, Dana, and Dwight.
His family would like to say a special thank you to the nursing staff at Parkland Medical Center for their comfort, care, and stewardship extended to him during his several stays there.
