A Navy Veteran pf World War II, he was the retired manager of Roberts Jewelry of Winchester, Ky. He was an elder and Sunday School Teacher at the First Christian Church, Winchester, Ky.
He was also a member of the Rotary Club and the Clark Masonic Lodge 943 F&AM.
Mr. Brewer was born Oct. 26, 1918, in Vallonia, Indiana to the late Robert and Helen Burcham Brewer.
Survivors include his wife: Maxine Robertson Brewer, Winchester, KY,; two daughters: Mrs. Larry (Sharon) Jenkins, Ramstein, Germany; and Dr. Deanna Brewer, Houston, Texas.
Funeral was held Friday, April 25, at the Scobee Funeral Home, Winchester, Ky., with Dr. Joe Aspley officiating. A graveside service was held Friday at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour, IN.
Memorials may be designated to the Lexington Theological Seminary, Lexington, KY.
