June Phyllis Merryman of Prescott, was called to her rest on September 15, 2007. Mrs. Merryman was born on June 6, 1931 in Philadelphia, the daughter of Mahlon and Anna (Waltz) Garber. She served in the U.S. Air Force and was later employed by AT&T and General Electric Missile. In February 1981 June married Thomas Eugene Merryman in Elkton, MD. In 1982, they relocated to Agoura, CA and she served on the auxillary staff of Westlake Hospital in Westlake, CA. The Merrymans moved to Mesa, AZ, and after Tom's retirement in 1993, they settled in Prescott. June is survived by her husband, Thomas Eugene Merryman, daughter and son-in-law Robyn and Steve Sheets of Canyon Country, CA; daughter Betsy Rathjen and grandchildren: Shaun Mahlon Frazier and Ashley Anne Rathjen; son Tyson Drake Merryman and granddaughters Jessica and Olivia of Somers Point, NJ; daughter Vicki Ann Merryman of Alexandria, VA; granddaughter and husband Heather and Matt Witham and greatgrandson Kekoa Paul Hapaki Witham, of Scottsdale, AZ.
Inurnment took place on October 15, 2007 at Prescott National Cemetery with color guard.
