Mr. Guice was a retired hardwood lumber inspector and a member of Oldenburg Presbyterian Church. He was a retired master sergeant from the U.S. Army, and served during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Z. Guice; his parents, N. A. "Abb" Guice and Ethel Adams Guice; two brothers and one sister.
He was survived by four sons, Harold A. Guice and wife Bobbie of Charlotte, NC, John Guice and wife Gloria of Roxie, Milton Guice and wife Sandra of Iuka, and Michael Guice and wife Eva of Meadville; one brother, Tilly Guice of Greeneville, TN; two sisters, Doris Harrigill Carter of Roxie and Ethel G. Dillon of Meadville; 12 grandchildren, 2 stepgrandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 stepgreat-grandchildren.
