MRS. JOHNSON IS BURIED AT RICHMOND

Richmond, Dec. 27 - Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Elva Ashment Johnson, wife of Daniel Johnson of Richmond and daughter of Thomas Ashment late of Logan, were held yesterday at 12 o'clock noon. The services were held in the large meeting house where large assemblage of friends and relatives were on hand to pay their respects to the deceased mother, daughter and wife. Many beautiful floral tributes were in evidence.

Musical numbers were furnished by the choir and a quartet under the personnel of Mrs. A.A. Thomas, Miss Laru Merrill, Elmer Stoddard and Brig Monson.

The speakers were Elders William J. Harrison and Herschel Bullen of Logan and James W. Funk of Richmond, all speaking highly of the deceased and uttering words of sympathy and consolation.

Mrs. Johnson leaves a family of four children, besides her husband and father, to whom the sympathy of the entire community is directed in this hour of their sad bereavement.

Elder Alfred Christensen offered the invocation and Bishop T.H. Merrill the closing prayer.
