This is my Uncle Jack. My Aunt Patsy's husband.

John (Jack) Stanton Cameron passed away December 28, 2007 of Heart Disease at age 78.

Jack was born October 26, 1929 to John A. and Delma Talbot Cameron in Panguitch, Utah. He married Dorothy Romero; they had 3 children, later divorced. Then he married Patsy Baker Vigil October 31, 1982, they loved each other deeply and were best friends to the end. Jack was a U.S. Marine, he served in the Korean War Era. Later he became a U.S. Postal Letter Carrier, and he retired after 30 years of service and remained a member of the N.A.L.C. Jack was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ronald and Kenneth.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy; sister, Colleen (Tom) Perfilli; sister-in-law, Pauline Cameron; daughter, Nancy (Dan) Cranfill; sons, Ronald C. (Bobby) Cameron and Stanton (Robert Lopez) Cameron; grandchildren, Brandon, Michael and Heather; seven great grandchildren; six step-children who loved him very much, Dale (Jessica) Vigil, Rudy (Janelle) Vigil, Lonnie Vigil, Diana (Ernie) Reyes, Thomas (Jenifer) Vigil and Alan (Pam) Vigil; 28 step grandchildren and 13 step great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at the Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South. The Family will receive Friends at a viewing Wednesday evening from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the Service on Thursday.
Interment: Utah Veteran's Memorial Park.
