Isaac's will of 1863 was probated in late 1865, both in Cabarrus Co., NC.
Elizabeth's first marriage (per 1850 & 1860 census) produced 5 Alexander children: Margaret, Octavia, Ada, Caldwell & James.
2nd husband John F. Kirksey, m. 12//21/1866:
The Kirksey family census of 1870 lists the 5 Alexander children under the Kirksey surname with the addition of another child, i.e.Carrie A. Kirksey b. 1868 NC.
The 1880 census in Deweese, Cabarrus Co., NC lists three children, James E. (Alexander, 21), Mary E (Alexander,18), & Carrie Kirksey, 12.
