Services for Shirley Sue Lewis age 86 of Grapeland will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 21, 2022 at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel, Grapeland with Rev. Kenny Bush officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Percilla. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Lewis passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Palestine. She was born April 26, 1935 in Grapeland, Texas to DJ and Corren Adams Wilkins. She married William Nathan Lewis on June 3, 1955.
Shirley was a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was married to the love of her life William Nathan Lewis for 65 years. She loved to paint pictures of landscape and was very good with art of all kinds, but the true love of her life was her family and the Lord. She always made a house feel like a home.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Robert Nathan Whitsitt, Ryan Vincent Whitsitt, John Christopher Lewis, Maurico Hernandez, Julissa Hernandez, and Audry Hernandez.
