Born Oct. 9, 1923, in Pleasant Plains, IL to John and Goldie Clevenger Hysler, she married Wesley LeRoy Curry on Jan. 14, 1948. He died Sept. 13, 1986. She later married Rollin Beebe on June 24, 1991. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, John Curry of Athens; one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Cathie) Morris of Topeka; two stepsons, William Beebe of Groveland and Richard Beebe of Manito; two stepdaughters, Carolyn Norman of Washington and Beverly Rayburn of Industry; and one foster son, Herb Ash of Kilbourne.
Also surviving are one sister, Mildred May of Athens; one stepbrother, David Ferguson of Auburn; one stepsister, Nancy Brown of Beardstown; five grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; one great-grandson; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; and seven foster grandchildren. One brother and one grandson preceded her in death.
She was a member of Kilbourne United Methodist Church and Modern Woodmen of America.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. The Rev. Norman Mendell will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kilbourne Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the March of Dimes.
