Professional Football Player. He was drafted in the 1960 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M as pick 160 in round 14 by the Washington Redskins. He started his professional career with the Houston Oilers in 1960 as a quarterback and a defensive back where he played in 22 games before ending his football career in 1961. In the 22 games he played in he completed 43 passes with 2 interceptions and made 66 punts for 2365 yards. He was an AFL champion in 1960 and 1961.
