Zeta Mae Klein, 100, of Wichita Falls, passed away on February 14, 2022.
The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on March 3rd at Lunn's. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on March 4th at Crestview Memorial Park with Joe Cook officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.
A daughter of the late Ettie Mae (Willbanks) and Clement G. Buckner, Zeta was born on January 2, 1922, in Frederick, Oklahoma. Zeta grew up on the family farm in Frederick with her two brothers and four sisters. Zeta loved sharing stories of family life on the farm.
Zeta moved to Wichita Falls shortly after high school, where she met and married Julius Klein on February 20, 1942. She worked for Kruger's Jewelry for many years, retiring in 1988. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she developed many friendships over the years. Zeta loved working in her yard and traveling.
Along with her parents, Zeta was also preceded in death by her brothers, Travis Buckner and Judge Buckner; and sisters, Marie Barnes, Lorene Woodard and Lena England; her husband Julius; her daughter Julie Harmon; and granddaughter Amy Wells and husband Larry.
She is survived by her son Randy Klein and daughter-in-law, Jane Hyndman Klein; grandchildren, Holly Fisher and husband Jason; Kate Janousek and husband Travis; Ryan Klein and wife Erin; great-grandchildren. Sara Fisher, Ben Fisher and Emmitt Janousek; and her sister, Wanda Raines Hornady.
