Howard B. Pratt, a resident of Lansingburg for many years, died yesterday at the Samaritan Hospital where he was admitted Saturday. He had been in failing health for several weeks and was stricken Saturday by cerebral hemorrhage.
Mr. Pratt was born in Waterford and became a resident of Troy at an early age. He was a graduate of Waterford High School. After leaving school, he entered the employ of the Ross Valve Co. and he remained with this firm since then, having a service record of 43 years. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
In addition to his wife, formerly May E. McGill, Mr. Pratt is survived by a son, William J. Pratt, a sister, Mrs. Alexander Feltman, of Albany, and a brother, Arthur W. Pratt, of Brooklyn. The funeral will be conducted from the residence, 889 Fifth Avenue, North, at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. C. V. Kling, D.D., rector of Trinity Episcopal Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
