Born Aug. 4, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Marquis and Virgie Harmon Cocanougher. She was retired from Inter-County RECC, a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church and Olea Lea Missionary Circle. She had been a member of Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, Danville BPW Club and Ky. Gamma Sorority.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Eugene, Hubert, Cecil, Everett and LaRue.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Jimmie (Margaret) Cocanougher of Springfield, John (Lois) Cocanougher of Oxford, Ohio, Beulah (William) Jones of Danville, Pam Cocanougher of Rising Sun, Ind., Beth Cocanougher of Louisville and Mark (Sherry) Cocanougher of Richmond.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at Stith Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Perryville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
