Mr. James Lester Cook age 87, a resident of Prattville, AL passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from Boones Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Fray officiating. Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Leonard Cook & Adell Hollon Cook, his wife Charlotte Wallace Cook, daughter Kathy Cook Armfield, brother Jerry Cook, sister Beatrice McDuffie. He was a retired engineer from Alagasco now Spire Energy. He is survived by his daughter Patty Cook Griffith (Bill), son Jimmy Cook , grandchildren Britany Cook (Greg Houser), Kristina Jenkins (Bryan), Jamie Griffith, Steven Crumpton (Erica) and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jeff Cook, Patrick Cook, Jerry Lee Cook and Larry McDuffie.
