Excerpts from her obituary:
Mrs. Caroline Poline Comingore, a well-known and highly respected lady of Kilbourne, died very suddenly at her home in this village shortly after 7:00 Tuesday morning, September 19, 1911, from cerebral apoplexy. Early Tuesday morning the lady appeared to be in usual good health and made a short call both at the home of her son, D. M. Comingore, who lives next door, and also at the home of a neighbor, Mrs. Wesley Craggs. A few moments after her return home she was taken ill, and Dr. Root was immediately summoned and did all in his power to revive her but the Death Angel had called her and in a few moments she passed away, her illness being perhaps of less than an hour's duration.

The funeral srvices were held at the Baptist Church in Kilbourne at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 20, the sermon being preached by Rev. E. P. Gish, pastor of the Christian Church, in the presence of a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. the reverened gentlemen preached an eloguent discourse, speaking of the many beautiful traits of Christian character of the departed and commending the bereaved ones to the love and guidance of Jesus Christ, the Savior of all mankind who alone has power to heal the wounds of broken hearts.

After the services at the church the remains were laid to rest in Kilbourne Cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs. Jesse Craggs, W. S. Sutton, C. D. Marcy, George Craggs, A. G. Ruggles, and J. B. Conover.

Surviving are her children, David M. Comingore, William Roy Comingore and Emma Comingore Holmes, brothers Charles Ade, Harvey Ade and William Ade, sisters, Mollie Ade Potter, Julia Ade Pierce, Rosa Ade Whitely, and Elizabeth Ade Daniel
