Fitts, James H. Sr. - age 68 of Lenoir City passed away suddenly Tuesday, March 15, 2005. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Lenoir City where he was a member of Dick DeMerchant's Sunday School Class. James was retired from Civil Service in Gretna, LA. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U. S. Army. Preceded in death by parents, Herschel Bryan Fitts and Lucy O. Hanry Fitts. Survived by his wife of 47 years; 2 sons; 1 daughter; 2 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dick DeMerchant officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery with military honors conferred by VFW Post #5150 and American Legion Post #120, #70 and #256.
