Winfred D. Wilbur, 82, of Bloomington, died Tuesday December 28, 1993 at Bloomington Hospital. Born March 4, 1911 in Spencer, he was the son of Joseph and Arva (Whitten) Wilbur. He was a baker and had worked at Peterson's Bakery. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances (Goodman) Wilbur; one son Donald J. Wilbur of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Marie Elena Bumpass of San Antonio, Texas and Catherine Joyce Wilbur of Bloomington; one sister, Helen Wilbur of Bloomington; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday December 31st at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father Ron Ashmore officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Allen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
