Mr. Billy Joe "BJ" Alexander, 89, of Wiggins, passed away February 7, 2022 at his residence. He was a member New Zion Methodist Church and was a retired electrician from Ingalls. He was preceded in death by his parents, William G. and Ina Hunt Alexander; daughter, June Daughdrill; son-in-law, Eugene Daughdrill; Daughter in Law, Gloria Alexander and grandson-in-law, L. C. Swaggerty. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Nellie Alexander of Wiggins; two children, Joe Alexander (Susan) of Wiggins and Dawn Richardson of Wiggins; four step grandchildren, Bobby Shows Jamie Scarbrough, Mckayla Alexander, Micah Alexander; six granddaughters, Mary Ina Potter, Dan'Je Daughdrill, Melinda Swaggerty, Katherine Richardson, Kristine Stringer and Kassidy Richardson; seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2022 at Moore Funeral Service in Wiggins with burial to follow in New Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Moore Funeral Service in Wiggins.
