Johnnie Lea (Acord) Yarbrough, 83, of Clarksville, AR died Thursday-February 10, 2022. She was born Tuesday-September 27, 1938 at Spoke Plant, AR. After graduating from Oark High School in 1956 Johnnie along with several friends and family, went to Blytheville, Arkansas to pick cotton, beans and whatever was in season. They didn't work on Saturday or Sunday, so for fun they would ride the Blytheville Ferry back and forth on the Mississippi River. Johnnie had many jobs in her life including Bear Brand Hosiery in Fayetteville while living in Prairie Grove. She worked at the West Department Store in Clarksville, AR. Johnnie was a garment inspector at the Garan plant in Ozark where she retired to start a Flower Shop in Altus in the early 80's. She later worked at Tyson and Sara Lee where she finally retired for good. This left her with plenty of time to enjoy her grandkids and great-grandkids at the family cabin and fishing behind their house.

Johnnie and Olen also have another little love in their lives, their little chihuahua, "Susie."

Johnnie was preceded in death by her father John Thomas Acord {March 3, 1909- August 12, 1971), her Mother Elzada (Griffith) Acord (October 20, 1909-September 16, 1994), her brothers Bennie Ray Acord (October 30, 1935-August 3, 2013) and Bobby Joe Acord (July 30, 1940-July 31, 2014), her sisters Cloma Jean Snodgrass (July 29, 1934-July 19, 2001) and Mary Lynn Acord who died at birth, and one great-grandchild Dawson Buddy Cooper (October 28, 2016).
