Services for Ruby Lee Hovis, 77, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Floyd Been and Carl W. Siler officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Hovis died Aug. 25, 1998 in a local hospital following an extended illness. She was born to Arthur L. and Nellie L. Lewis Been Nov. 5, 1920, at Davis.

She was a cosmetic clerk at Veazey Drug in Oklahoma City 20 years before she retired and had lived in Ardmore since 1981. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include a son, Phillip, Oklahoma City; two daughters, Melbra Haskins, Ardmore, and Carolyn Siler, Oklahoma City; two brothers, Rev. Floyd Been, Oklahoma City, and Arthur Been, Brookesmith, Texas; two sisters, her twin, Ruby May Allen, Oklahoma City, and Mildred Dancer, Odessa, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Been; and granddaughter.

Bearers will be Warren Neil, Jim and Tony Haskins, Steven, Carl and Donnie Siler.

Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home will direct services.
