John B. Goodner passed away after a long battle with cancer on Friday, January 14, 2022. He was born September 12, 1960 in Redding, CA, to Rupert Joseph and Rowena Louise (nee Stevenson) and died in Redding CA, at the age of 61. A graduate of Anderson High School and Shasta College, he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1992.
John looked forward to his yearly Kamloops outing, often with his cousin Gunnar Nelson. He also spent many hours as a Volunteer Firefighter and doted on his pet dogs and cats over the years.
He gained interest, alongside his mother Rowena, in Native Plants and gardening.
He is survived by his brothers Michael, Gary, Rodney, Roy, and sisters Patti Morris and Joan Carpenter.
