WAUKOMIS - The funeral for Ruby Dugan, 88, will be 2 p.m. Monday Nov. 8, 1999 in Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Don Avaritt will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with family will be 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. She was born Feb. 5, 1911, in Chattanooga to Harrison and Parlee Groom Angel and died Friday Nov. 5, 1999, at St. Mary's Mercy Hospital. On Sept. 18, 1925 she married Luther Dugan in Pontotoc Co. She retired from Enid State School where she was a resident life aid and supervisor. She was a member of East Maine Church of Christ.
Surviving are two daughters, Elva Griffin of Eufaula and Clara Darnell of Waukomis; three sons, Dean of London, Ark., Jack of Lahoma and Jerry of Russelville, Ark.; one sister, Annie Bell Ingram of Tupelo; one brother, Archie Angel of Tupelo; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1969. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love.
