Ralph T. Snellings, 77, died Thursday at Mary Washington Hospital.

A lifelong resident of Falmouth, Mr. Snellings was retired from G & H Manufacturing Co., where he had served 40 years as a die press cutter. He was a member of the Falmouth Baptist Church and the Falmouth Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Snellings also served in the National Guard.

Among his survivors are his wife, Dorothy S. Snellings; one daughter, Mrs. Ann Day of Fredericksburg; a brother, Archie Snellings of Chesapeake; and two grandsons.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Wilson Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jack A. Marcon Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Willie G. Shelton, James W. Summers, John "Rusty" Sullivan, Sidney S. Rodgers, Carlton R. Musselman and Samuel Harrison Berry. Honorary pallbearers will include the Berean Bible Class of Falmouth Baptist Church and the Falmouth Volunteer Fire Department.

The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
