Graveside services for Mrs. Frances Imogene Holder, 81, of Mineral Wells, formerly of Levelland, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 5, at the City of Levelland Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Howe, pastor of Second Baptist Church of Levelland, officiating. Services are under direction of Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors. She died Friday, April 2, 2004, at Mineral Wells Nursing Home in Mineral Wells.

She was born July 7, 1923, in Bristow, Okla., and graduated from high school in Daughtery, Okla., in 1943. She went to work for Western Union in Memphis, Texas, in 1943 and transferred to Levelland, Brownfield, and Lubbock. She retired after 34 years. She married Granville Holder on April 9, 1949, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1997. She was also preceded by a brother Clifford Everett. She and her husband owned various rental properties in Levelland for many years.

Survivors are her son, Richard Holder and wife Betty of New Home, Texas; a daughter, Karen Lee and husb and Terry (Buger) of Mineral Wells; a son, Chris Holder and wife Christie of Corpus Christi; a brother, Bob Everett and special friend Violet of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Dot McClure and husband Jack of Ardmore, Okla., and Barbara Wilson and husband Jerry of Midwest City, Okla.; grandchildren, Melissa Ashley and husband Josh of Mineral Wells, Jason Lee and wife Jamie of Mineral Wells, Scott Holder of Logan, Utah, Christi Holder and Jessica Holder, both of New Home, and Megan Rutherford and Madison Holder, both of Corpus Christi; and great-grandchildren, Scott Ashley Harris, Ethan Lee and Brittni Lee.
