Robert L. Dorr passed peacefully February 1st into God's heaven. He was born March 15, 1926 in Rushville Nebraska. He worked for Continental Airlines, where he met and married Marilyn Myers of Deland Fl on May 20, 1960. They then relocated to Bunnell, Fl. where he worked as a radio, electrician technician for the division of forestry until his retirement.
He is predeceased by his wife Marilyn and son James. Survivors include sons: Robert N. of Fleming island and Richard W. of Winter Springs. 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Bob will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 11th at 12:15pm at Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel in DeLand, with the family receiving friends from 1-2pm. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
