DON'T POST A FLOWER SAYING HE'S A CONFEDERATE SOLDIER; THERE'S NO PROOF & PUT YOUR NOTE UNDER THE DOC YOU POST; NOT AS A FLOWER. THANK YOU!

******Errors are made on Census Records as to where born, his father never lived in South Carolina; I believe that this is an error because our grandfather Joseph Jackson Welch never left North Carolina.

There's no PROOF that he fought in the Civil War. Fold3 Records: I have not found any Civil War Records that belong to him yet. I've looked in NC, SC, TN & Texas. Different spellings of name & abbreviations......If located; please add, thank you!

There's a Jasper in Missouri; but the documents give no clue to any family member(s). Suggest Records on Civil War in Ancestry are probably not him.

*****************Joseph Jackson the father; had all children in MACON, NC.*******************

Alias are Wilaby, Willoughby, Jasper W., Jasper.

DIED between 1886 & 1890. He was last on the 1880 Texas Census. By 1900 Clementine Hedrick married John W. Evans m. 1890 as they are on the 1900 Census with 3 of her children as his step children.

His children are:

Catherine #39134862

Rev. Harvey Right #99220394

William Thomas #236559652

Malzina "Mallie" #38594028

Deanie "Dean" #14655166
