Patty was born April 15, 1942, in Hennepin, to the late William and Lillie (Redmond) Hudson. She passed on Saturday, February 5, 2022, in Kingston, at the age of 79.
Patty grew up in the Hennepin area, attending school at Katie. Once she became married, she devoted her time to raising her six children Sandy, Carla, Shelia, Brenda, Sherry, and Billy. Later, Patty spent several years working as an Inspector for the United States Department of Agriculture.
Patty was an avid reader. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going garage selling, and taking bus tours around the country. She loved watching any kind of ghost shows. Patty was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Davis, where she enjoyed attending with her sister Lora.
Survivors include five daughters, Sandy Herring & husband David of Davis, Carla Milligan & husband Lance of Madill, Shelia Porterfield of Russellville, KT, Brenda Williams of Eureka Springs, AR, and Sherry Hembree of Yukon; one son, Billy Vineyard of Stonewall; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lora Williams of Davis, Joyce Hudson, Betty Hudson, and Ruth Edgar; as well as a lifelong friend, Roy Cooper.
In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Qualls; granddaughter, Anna Porterfield; and siblings, Carl Hudson, Gene Hudson, Jessie Hudson, William Hudson, Essie Ball, Jack Hudson, Buster Hudson, J.D. Hudson, and John Hudson.
