BUCK, Jennings E., 94, of Terrace Circle, Sistersville, W.Va., died December 30, 2007, in Sistersville General Hospital.

He was born October 20, 1913, in Buck Run, Tyler County, W.Va., the son of the late William H. and Nettie Meredith Buck.

He was a lifelong farmer; a salesman for Wearever Cooking Supplies; and Deputy Tyler County Assessor for 54 years.

He was a member of the Buck Run Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn W. Buck, in 1996; daughters, Ruth Elaine Stewart, in 1987, and infant daughter, Cheryl Ann Buck; and sister, Geraldine Paxson.

Surviving are Carol (Ken) Ritz of New Martinsville, W.Va., and Betty (Ron) Reed of Sistersville; grandchildren, Neil Stewart, Roger Scott Stewart, Robin Page, Sherri Connolly, Eric Ritz, Steven Reed, and Mike Reed; 12 great-grandchildren; two step- great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at the Myers Funeral Home, Sistersville, WV, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, at 1 p.m., with Evangelist Ken Keifer officiating.

Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Sistersville.
