"Otto Richard Engelbart, 62, of 4809 Russell, North, died yesterday at the home after a six-week illness. He was born in Bancroft [sic], Neb., and lived in this area 14 years. He was an electrician. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Inez Englebart of the home; a son, Maurice Engelbart of North Kansas City; his mother, Mrs. Mary Engelbart of Pender, Neb.; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Warner and Mrs. Augusta English, both of West Point, Neb., and Mrs. Laura Norman of Randolph, Neb.; and three brothers, Marvin Engelbart of West Point, and Henry Engelbart and Fritz Engelbart, both of Pender. Services will be at 2 o'clock Thursday at the Newcomer chapel, North Kansas City; burial in White Chapel Memorial Gardens." The Kansas City Times, February 1, 1961
