Services for W. Stokes Gresham Jr., 58, St. Petersburg, Fla., a former Indianapolis broadcasting executive, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Wilhelm-Thurston Funeral Home at St. Petersburg, with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery there.
Mr. Gresham died Monday at his home.
He was general manager of WSNU In St. Petersburg and was a broadcasting consultant.
Prior to moving to Florida four years ago, he had been vice president and general manager of Capitol Broadcasting, owner of the former WIGO in Indianapolis.
He also was chief engineer, corporate secretary and vice-president of WISH radio and television for 22 years.
At one time he was president of Metropolitan Radio Corporation operating WMRT in Lansing, Mich.
A native of Columbus, Ga., where he started his broadcasting career, he was an Indianapolis resident for 25 years.
A life member of the National Institute of Radio Engineers, Mr. Gresham was known nationally as a consultant.
He was a former member of the Indianapolis Athletic Club, and was a member of the St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Tampa advertising clubs and the Sales and Marketing Executives Association.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Gloria Gresham; four daughters, Miss Gloria J. Gresham of New York City, Mrs. Stephen Walsmith of Indianapolis, Miss Georgia Gresham, at the University of Evansville, and Miss Linda Gresham at home, and the mother, Mrs. Vashti Gresham of Atlanta, Ga.
