Barbara Elizabeth Ludi, 98, of Findlay, died at 2:12 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2007 at the Birchaven Care Center, Findlay. She was born on March 13, 1909 in Findlay to the late Joseph A. and Elizabeth R. (Fleck) Laube. She married J. Robert Ludi on February 5, 1938 and he preceded her in death on August 24, 1973. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Findlay, Rosary Alter Society, Blanchard Valley Hospital Auxilary, American Legion Auxiliary and the Hancock County Historical Society. She had been employed at Central Ohio Light and Power and The Ohio Oil Company. She is survived by a daughter, Jill (Bill) Hanna; two granddaughters, Josie (Scott) Lentz and Amanda (Cary) Rau, three great-grandchildren, Grant Lentz, Cole and Karsen Rau, all of Findlay; sister-in-laws, Mary Bedford of North Olmstead, OH and Esther Evans of Kettering, OH. Also preceding her in death were an infant daughter, Julianne; five brothers, Norbert E., Eugene J., Charles F., Bernard B., and Alfred J. Laube; three sisters, Mary A. Earlie, Ellen I. Beltz and M. Jayne Fagan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 24, 2007 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, downtown, where the Rosary Altar Society will begin praying the Rosary a half hour before the service. Father Michael Hohenbrink Celebrant. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m., Wednesday at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where a Rosary service will be held at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Parish Capital Campaign, 422 Western Avenue, Findlay, 45840; JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) 3450 West Central Avenue #256, Toledo, 43606.
