Phyllis Miller Banks Cabell, born January 20, 1961, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 6, 2016 after lingering illness.
She is survived by her sons, David Banks of Newport and Chad (Sherry) Banks of Newport; grandchildren, Austin, Ashlyn, and Amelia Banks all of Newport; brothers, Terry (Debbie) Miller and Rev. Gary (Teresa) Miller all of Newport; sisters, Linda (Larry) Holt, Karen Dale (Alton) Sane, and sister and best friend, Bonnie (Charles) Biddle all of Newport; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special "Thank You" to brother-in-law, Charles Biddle for being her care giver; and special and close friend, Allen Cody.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kristen E. Banks; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Avery (Betty) Miller; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Clevenger and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Miller; and a dear great niece, Taylor M. Davis.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm, Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Manes Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Centerview Missionary Baptist Church in the Liberty Hill Community. Officiating will be her brother, Rev. Gary Miller. Burial will follow in the Miller Family Cemetery.
