Charles Roberts, 71, of Middleburg, Florida went home to be with the Lord January 29, 2022. He was born January 12, 1951 to the late Everett and Cleora Roberts in Lawrence County Kentucky.

After graduating from Lawrence County High School in 1969, he worked at CSX Transportation as a train dispatcher for almost 40 years. He had a passion for the Black Pond Baptist Church in Middleburg where he served faithfully in many roles.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Nadene Roberts; three sons Charles (Suzi) Roberts, Marc (Christina) Roberts, Darrin (Tanya) Kidd; one daughter Denise (Corey) Hale; nine grandchildren Cody Blum, Calin Blum, Carson Roberts, Victoria Kidd, Patrick (Taylor) Roberts, Delanie Blum, Kevin Hale, Tylar Roberts, Connor Hale; two sisters Jean Carter and Virginia Jenks; three brothers June (Mary Ann) Roberts, Bill (Nan) Roberts, Bob Roberts.

He was preceded in death by three brothers Jack Roberts, Leon Roberts and Paul Roberts and two sisters Dorothy Chaffin and Jo Cain.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Black Pond Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am with Rev. Jason Brown officiating. Graveside service to follow at Black Pond Cemetery.
